What kind of oil to use when my car requires synthetic which meets 502.00 specification???

I would like to use Auto rx for my 2001 VW Passat 1.8
This car  strongly require synthetic oil with 502.00 oil standart approval. Can somebody recommend me group III synthetic oil with 502.00 specification which I can use for both phases?

Just a quick Google search and this is what I found. Don't know where in the world you are but this may help.

Just click on the Audi Approved oil chart.

Thank you for your answer ....the link is really helpfull  but doesn't say what group the oils belongs to..... and since it's recommended (when using Auto rx with synthetic) to use just Group III oils ... I really would like to know which of those oils belongs to group III ...or get at least one example....

jozef,

Frank Miller posted this over in the Auto-Rx for Engines section hope this helps.

We at Auto-Rx feel that the customer is best served by using a simple conventional oil. People have asked for a list of approved synthetic oils for use with Auto-Rx. While this is not an all inclusive list, there are enough mentioned in ample availability to suit most needs. They span most blenders.

Amsoil = limited to XL line.
Castrol = Syntech with the exception of 0w-30 imported from Germany
Shell, Pennzoil, Quaker State = All
Motor Craft = All
SuperTech

If your engine has "Special" needs e-mail me and describe them . We will try to come up with a working application.

If you require a VW 502.00 specification, I would use Pennzoil Platinum European Formula 5W-40.
