Would Auto-RX possibly help this problem?

(I also noticed that I've over-filled the transmission fluid by quite a bit. Could this be the problem?)

I am very sorry your post remained un answered for so long. Auto-Rx Plus is a cleaner as such it is green chemistry and completely safe. If dirt,contaminants, were the cause of the shift problem, than yes we could have fixed it.

For the price of one bottle it would have made sense to try Auto-Rx Plus before any other option.

 Remove the excess ATF before starting a ARX Plus treatment.
