Abused for sure:) Well maintained. Flushed and filled w/ screen change once a year. Was starting to slip a tad under load. Ran the AutoRX per the instructions and flushed and filled. No slipping at all. Added bonus was a surprisingly smoother shift! Thanks Frank!

In general, most folks don't give their transmission the good car that you had Sarge. In a daily driver most transmission shops recommend 30,000 miles max on a fill of trans fluid. I tend to agree with them. If neglegted, the trans many times will end up being the week link in the drive train. In many cases even with somewhat good trans maintenance the trans is the week link anyways. In my estimation it is so simple to add the cleaning dose of ARX( 6 oz.) to the automatic trans 1000 miles before purging that I don't understand the mentality of the average car owner. It takes about 2 minutes to perform this function. What gives?

Do you happen to have any pictures of the fluid when you changed it?
