This was about a year ago- All week I have been calling transmission shops and where I live it runs $3500 to rebuild my tranny with all the updates. I called everyone in the book and even Aamco said the last two identical transmissions to mine they did were $3500 bucks. My symptoms were that when I hit the gas the motor whinned just fine but the vehicle wouldn't hardly move. It took forever to shift and when it finally shifted it was rough. In other words my transmission was slipping. So I was looking for a good transmission treatment to see if it could help.
I was looking at Bobstheoilguy's site and saw that Autorx could be used in transmissions too. The problem was that the last yahoo that filled my tranny oil over filled it so I had to be careful on putting anymore fluid in there. I started putting 2oz incraments in my transmission dipstick hole with the little injector thing you see in my very first picture next to the Autorx bottle. The first two ounces had no noticable difference. I put 2 more ounces in the next day and my transmission was FIXED! When I hit the gas I frickin boogy, and the thing shifts smoothly. I added another 2 ounces for good measure and now I'm going to drive it for a while and drop the pan and change the fluid and filter.
I may have to change the transmission soon because I'm abusing the hell out of it, it's fun to punch it and actually move. I cannot believe how well Autorx worked in my motor and tranny! I would give this stuff my highest recommendation based on what I know and my results.
NOW one year later, my tranny is still shifting likes it new. I keep telling myself I should at least change the tranny oil, but I figured I wont touch it until it gives out. Anyhow, the truck is going up for sale because I bought an 07 truck, and I am super glad I used Autorx in the tranny becasue it saved me 3500 dollars for something I would have sold anyway. I am seriously greatful, thanks Frank!
I have had positive results with my manual transmission as well. I had Honda MTF in there and added 3oz. of ARX to see if it would stop my weeping transaxle seals. The car is a Saab 900 with high mileage, so the weeping seals are expected. Anyways, the weeping completely stopped. When the treatment was done, I switched to Redline MTL and now about 9 months later, still no sign of the weeping.
arx did a fine job of fixing the sticky tv on a 700r4 here. dosed it and about 50 miles out on i-70 i stopped at a rest stop and noticed i didnt need to run to redline to get 1-2 shift. this thing had been cranky for a while. its still working so i saved time not having to pull it and rebuild it got all the parts on hand as its usually a when not an if you need to rebuild in these heavy work vans. but the time arx saved was more than worth the price.
It's good to hear another transmission story, I swear if the conditions are right Autorx can save you a ton of money on a tranny fix. I think if the clutch in the auto tranny is sticking, Autorx will clean it and unstick it period. It will fix slipping and hard shifting tranny's in this circumstance. However, if the tranny has bad metal wear, arx isn't going to do squat. Bottom line is if your tranny is acting up but it's not rattling, give Autorx a try!

Did you ever drop the pan & change the fluid & filter? How many miles in this 1-year time frame? Have you done any UOAs on the fluid either pre or post ARX?
Never got around to changing the tranny fluid, I just been too busy. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 5k miles on it, don't know for sure. If I end up keeping the vehicle, I will drop the pan and then TTec it just to see how long I can make it last. No oil analysis's done ever.
