oil light went on.....

well... my oil light sometimes goes on... whats the deal?... i have plenty of oil in there.... even a little more than usual cuz i have a bad oil pan gasket that likes to leak & needs to be changed... i am about 1.9k miles into the 1st stage (i have synthetic oil & folowing franks instructions) could it be that the auto rx is working and that some of the carbon build up is getting cloged?

cuz i remember one night i noticed my light went on... i checked my oil & there were barely any, then i put 1/2 a bottle in & then i checked once more.... its full past the line.... i only had the car on for 5 seconds... any input?... would u recomend me to change my oil now?

This is a common occurence as Auto-Rx is also cleaning your internal sensors. Light is on because there is contaminants on your sensor, continue with your application. After rinse cycle is complete light will go out. It is just a light not an indication of anything. Please go to www.auto-rx.con and read the FAQ.

you stated the light went on andthe oil was very low.
you ad half a qt and its now overfull.
sounds like either operator error or the drainbacks in the head(s)are plugged up.all the oil get pumped topside and does not drain back.
had a 327 in a 69 chevy that was so crudded up i lost several qts from each side when i removed the valvecovers.
smoked so bad you couldnt see behind you.
a good cleanup did the trick.
had a 3 pound coffee can full of sludge in it.
