New Treat rate for Auto-RX
Permalink

The last time I used Auto-rx, the treat rate was 1oz per quart plus 1 extra (for the filter).  Now it is twice that.  Did the formulation change?  Or is there evidence that the larger dosage works better?

Also, if the cleaning ratio has doubled then how about the "maintenance plan" dosage.  Seems to still be at 3oz no matter the sump size.

Auto-Rx has never had a treat rate of 1 ounce of AutoRx per quart of oil .

The correct treat rate is 2 ounces per quart of oil for engines.

6 ounces of Auto-Rx for Automatic Transmissions.

Please go to www.auto-rx.com and click on applications read FAQ that way you won't go wrong.

Is the tranny recommendation independent of tranny pan size?

Yes 6 ounces of Auto-Rx only no matter how many quarts of transmission fluid your unit holds. Transmission Fluid is base hydraulic oil and is very viscious. Please go to www.auto-rx.net for complete instructions.

Oops, I think I got your product's treat rate crossed with someone elses product.  My bad.
