I just found out about this product while searching for a resolution to my car's problem. I have a 1992 Mercedes Benz 300D 2.5 Turbo [Diesel] with 63000 miles on it. I recently acquired the car and realized this "tick tick" abnormal noise coming from inside the engine. My mechanic looked at it and found out it had collapsed hydraulic lifters. Brand new lifters were put in about 10 days ago, 90% noise gone but a few lifters are still noisy and it seems the oil is not getting to them, it could be that oil passages are blocked due very less driving and car being in storage all the time.
Anyway, I thought it would be a good idea to clean up the engine and my mechanic agreed. So here are my questions, I did call the phone number listed on site but got voice mail.
1) Is there an Auto-RX distributor in Canada, Toronto area? 2) If no place to buy this stuff from than can you ship to Canada? 3) How long will it take if shipped? 4) Shipping cost? 5) Is the Basic application good enough for my diesel car?
Appreciate your responses in advance, hopefully this stuff will help get rid of this annoying noise and smooth up the engine to the way its supposed to be.
