My car is a 95 Nissan Maxima with 165,000 miles. I would just like to confirm the directions. Step 1 add ARX to oil. Drive it for 1,500 miles. Step 2 change oil. Drive it for 2,000 miles. I assume I need to do the rinse phase before adding ARX again? Step 3 change oil and add ARX again. Drive for 1,500 miles. Step 4 change oil and drive it for 2,000 miles. Change oil and I'm done!
1.) Change your oil & filter, then add ARX to your oil at a ratio of 2oz. per quart (i.e. 10 oz. for a 5-quart sump). Drive it for 1,500 miles. 2.) Change your oil & filter again. Drive for 2,000 miles. 3.) Change your oil & filter, then add ARX again. Drive for 1,500 miles. 4.) Change your oil & filter, then Drive 2,000 more miles. 5.) Change your oil & filter again. Use your choice of conventional or synthetic oil. 6.) (optional) continue to add 3oz. of Auto-RX to every oil change thereafter to maintain engine cleanliness.
