clean oil pickup screen before/after
Permalink

Hello,
Thanks for all the info on here.  Would it be better to clean the oil pickup screen before the auto-Rx or after having used auto-Rx.  I have to replace the oil pan anyway and was going to clean the pickup screen.

And so I don't start another thread.  Might be a stupid question but, could I use the auto-Rx for my transmission and powersteering cleaning as well as my motorcycle engine?  I know that there are other cycle-Rx and transmission-Rx but aren't they about the same chemically?
Thanks

I'd clean it first, as Auto Rx will liquefy everything any way. Why crack open a nice clean system, and with a new seal, you know it won't leak in the end. The answer to your second question is "yes". Auto Rx is the same product for all of those applications, just different instructions.

That's the great thing about ARX - it has so many uses and can be used in so many different applications.
