Hi guys,

Well i've run my BMW 728i through a auto-rx clean and rinse cycle and have to say im quite impressed.

The car has 120,000 miles and is used as a chauffeur/taxi car so averages about 2,000 - 2,500 miles a week.

One major difference I did notice after the treatment was the amount of oil it took to refill.

I have used both synthetics before auto-rx and mineral oils during and ALWAYS got 5.3-5.4 litres in the engine. I change the oil every 2-3 weeks so I know the procedure inside out. So it was extremely suprising when on refilling it took 6 litres to refill!

Are these oil passageways that have become open again after treatment or is there some other explanation?

Anyway it runs great, so thanks. A little tech explanation on the results would be great if anyone wants to chuck in some theories.

Knightkiller,

Thank you for using Auto-Rx it is a great product. I would use the maintenance dose with the engine having 120K.

Auto-Rx removed hardened contaminants from oil pan. This has been seen and reported on before.

Daryl is absoulutely correct go on the Auto-Rx Maintenace plan it will help keep your BMW out of the shop.

please go to www.auto-rx.com and type in maintenance plan on web site search engine and also read users comments on maintenace plan on home page
