The ARX/like the tranny fluid needs to be added through a hole in the side of the transmission and from underneath the vehicle. I just want to add the appropriate amount of ARX (around 3 oz?).
You can also find funnels with a plastic hose on the bottom. If you are filling the tranny thru a side mount hole, you can't fill it past the bottom level of the hole. I think you'll have to drain out a few ounces first.
I used a 2 oz syringe found in automotive section at Wal-Mart. It comes with apprx 4" clear plastic tube to connect to end of syringe. It works cleanly & precisely. I expect 91% alcohol could be used to clean syringe/tube between uses.
Thanks for all the suggestions. I used an ear irrigating bulb to add the auto-rx (remember I had it at the last minute). The tranny took 2 oz without overflowing and the differential took 1 oz without overflowing. It would have been a hassle having to remove some fluid.
