I am now 5000 miles into the Maintenance Dose and noticed something kind of odd, when I went out tonite and drove over too a party I was amazed at how smooth the engine was running, thinking this was a fluke when I drove the car home it ran just as smooth, I remember Frank once said that you will notice results into the 2nd Maintenance Dose which I am on now, I do not know what too make of this, maybe everything is just about cleaned out of my engine, the power is still great, the reason I mention about the smoothness is that I have been driving this car since November 1987 when it had about 50,000 miles, throughout this whole process which I began in May of 2007 when the car had 343,000 miles, the engine has always run better over time. I have dual exhaust on the car and every now and then I will feel how the exhaust pulses are coming out of the pipes as well as how strong the flow of the exhaust is coming out of the pipes, it seems like the pulses are different meaning like a perfect rhythm and the exhaust flow is a little more powerful, these are just my thoughts and may mean nothing. I will point out that this experience has shown me how important the Maintenance Dose is too my engine.
What rate of Auto-Rx are you using for maimtemamce program ? We are experimenting for the "sweet spot" of Auto-Rx friciton modifiers cleaning come together for maximum performance. Your getting that now. I know you have been meticoulous in using Auto-Rx several times. Brent maybe you will seave $$$ for us. The performance your getting now is all Auto-Rx whatever oil your using is just acting as a carrier 343,000 miles quite a result.
Frank I am using 4 ounces since my total oil capacity with oil filter is 6 quarts. I definetly know these results are all Auto-Rx, I will be checking the oil tonite before I go out and see how the color looks on the dipstick even though I know that this may not be the color of the oil in the pan. I will keep everyone informed as too what is going on.
Let's see, 1 Clean and then another accidental Clean, then a 3000 mile Rinse, then another Clean and Rinse, now of course I am on the 2nd Maintenance Dose. It was not until my 2nd Maintenance Dose that I could go 1000 miles on an oil filter , I am hoping too get 2000 miles out of this oil filter, the amazing results are all because of Auto-Rx.
