Oil filter pictures from second application

These are just some very quick photos I snapped. Before it was cut open, the technican said this was the heaviest oil filter he'd ever seen. The general assumption was that it was just motor oil inside, but here's what really was inside. This is an ACDelco PF1127 oil filter after 5,000 km (3,000 miles), with a bottle of ARX and Motorcraft Synthetic Blend 10W-30 motor oil:





This is not the filter media, but rather what was stuck inside:

Frank, the oil filter's that I cut open looked just like the ones in the photos, it is definetly nicer to have that junk in your oil filter as opposed to being stuck inside your engine where it may block oil from lubricating parts in the engine.
