AutoRx in the fuel system

I wonder if you could use ARx in the fuel tank? If so how much on a 25 gallon tank. Truck is a 02 F-150 5.4L. Motor has 40k on it and injectors are aftermarket replacements 21 lb/hr.

kaboom10,

No Auto-Rx is only for the oil and not fuel systems.

Very happy you asked it here on this board. Auto-Rx will not mix with gas.

I find it a vastly interesting additive being what it does work with. It seemed a possibility. There are so many fuel system cleaners and my short driving cycles I like to keep things clean.

I am sure Frank will not mind me pointing this out. Auto-Rx works in:

1) Engines
2) Transmissions
3) Powersteering
4) Differentials
5) 4-Stroke Engines
a) Lawn Mowers
b) Snowblowers

Auto-Rx does not work in:

1) Cooling Systems
2) Fuel Systems
3) Brake Systems, it has not been tested yet, I already asked.
4) Air Conditioning
5) 2-Cycle Engines

Thanx. I've got several 4cycle gas powered tools. They lead hard lives around here.

I don,t know a thing about 4 cycle gas tools however if the oil and gas don,t mix than Auto-Rx will do fine.

The snoblower and lawnmower hold about a quart each but the weed trimmer holds very little. I have a quart of synthetic for it and it might just be a lifetime supply. I run the same weight I use in my truck 5W20.
