ARX and my 2 cars

Car #1 - 2005 Nissan Quest , purchased new, with 60K miles.  Check engine light and time chain noise.  Stealership said it would be covered by warrenty but won't due to severe engine sludge.  They are calling it a "maintenance issue".  $2700 for repairs and calling it a patch.  $4000 for used low miles engine.  $7000 for new engine.  I took the car home, changed the oil and filter, then poured my first bottle of ARX today.  It may still need timing chain or tensioner work but we will see.  There is also a company tech report on this same problem.  Plan on the sludge application.

Car #2 - 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac, purchased 3 months ago, with 64K miles.  Just changed the oil and filter in this car yesterday.  Poured in a bottle of ARX this afternoon.  The current plan is basic application.

I will be changing the PCV valves in both after a trip to auto parts store.

It sounds like you have read the application for sludge. Remember no synthetic oil EVER. Follow the application
and all will be well . No need to tell you other car manufactures play the same "GAME" with there customers.

These dealers know Auto-Rx will take care of the problem of controlling sludge. They also know there profits on selling there sludge solution is more than they made when they sold the vehicle.

With your Explorer print out the basic application and follow instructions.

Please make sure you keep after the PCV as it is a cheap item and can help your engine from not having some problems.

You may also need to pick up a few oil filters, as your engine may be filling up the oil filter, especially during the rinse phase.
