I am about to begin a rinse phase. Can I return to a synthetic oil during this time or should I remain on a regular oil that I used during the clean phase?

It is best to stay with a Dino oil for optimum results.

The dino oil will do a better job of rinsing than the synthetic oil.

Unless you have sludge issues or seal leaks you can return to synthetic oil after your Auto-Rx Application is done. The maintenance dose is 4 ounces of Auto-Rx to each OCI.

Something else to remeber your OCI can be extended 25 % minimum (providing your not going for 10,000 miles between oil changes) When it comes to OCI hope all of you know short trips reduce mileage between oil changes, so 25% is meaningful, just as it s for the long distance driver.
