Maint. Dose for 10 quart Diesel Engine?

As the topic states, would the maint. dose be 6 ozs for a 10 quart sump since the sump is 2x the standard 5 quart oil system?

That should work fine based on the standard maint. dose. Others may chime in but it makes sense.

I think that should be fine also, but you might want to PM Frank and get his thoughts.

How many miles are on this vehicle, if you have more than 25,000 miles it might be a good idea to do a Clean and Rinse.

Thanks Guys...

It's a 2007 Chevy LBZ Duramax with 21k miles and it's had Schaeffer oil in it since the 1st oil change at 5000 miles ..
