In March of 2008 I bought a 1993 Century with 145,000 miles, and had the transmission fluid changed. It drove fine before that, but right after the change it would fall into a false neutral at most stops. You would have to shift to neutral then back into drive to get it to engage. I drove it like that for a month, evaluating the problem and getting estimates. Then I put in about 3oz of autorx. The next morning it got only a couple false neutrals, and has been perfect since then, which is 15 months now.
