Just got a Jeep Liberty 2007 with over 54000 miles. Had to drive it 700 miles before I had the time to change the oil. Initially the oil on the dipstick looked pretty good, however that doesn't really say much. When I changed it the old oil was very very dark, almost black. Dunno how clean or dirty the engine is inside since even under the oil cap you don't see much (there's a funnel and a tube leading to the crankcase). Started ARX application at exactly 55000 miles using PYB 5W-20 as carrier.
We'll see.
(edit) BTW this is the 3.7L gasoline engine. Actually it's the only engine in that year-model.

Let the debates begin. The tried and true 4.0 liter inline 6 vs. the newer 3.7 liter v-6. Obviously the newer V-6 has been designed to get a little better MPG and its shortened block makes it a better fit and improved weight balance in the smaller Liberty frames, but it does seem to be more demanding on motor oil.
Glad to see you here on the board and hope that the use of ARX will serve you well.
