Automatic Transmission Application (Easy Step-by-Step Process Below)

Automatic transmissions are generally not properly serviced over a vehicles intended life. For this reason, transmissions get a bad rap as being the weak link in the drive train. Repairs are generally very costly, usually starting at over $2,000. Owner manuals put fluid exchange intervals as high as 80,000 miles, but a transmission repair shop will seldom recommend running the fluid for more than 30,000 miles. So who would you believe?

If you have more than 30,000 miles on your vehicle, we highly recommend adding the prescribed dose of Auto-Rx and driving 1,000 miles before a fluid change. This will ensure that deposits, gums, and varnishes come out with draining. Dont put fresh fluid into a gummed-up system.

To get the most out of Auto-Rx®, we recommend the following simple steps:

STEP 1Check the fluid level. If it is at or below the full mark, there is space available to add Auto-Rx. If the level is overfilled, it should be returned to the proper level before continuing.
STEP 2Add approximately 6 ounces of Auto-Rx regardless of the fluid capacity. (For metric measurements, use 138 mL.)
STEP 3Drive approximately 5 miles to circulate and evenly disperse the Auto-Rx into the transmission fluid.
STEP 4Check the fluid level again. Add transmission fluid if the level is below the full mark.
STEP 5Drive the vehicle for 1,000 miles.
STEP 6Purge out the transmission fluid and replace with fresh fluid approved for your transmission.
STEP 7Change the filter at this time if your transmission is so equipped in order to remove the contaminants that Auto-Rx has dissolved off the valve bodies and the torque convertor.
STEP 8Congratulations! Your cleaning application is done.

I'm sorry that was my fault and I don't mind you're gonna blame me! evileye

Just have noticed this link here auto-rx.activeboard.com/index.spark

P.S. I still thinks that the 3,000 miles treatment is the correct method and I have found the 1,500 miles wasn't enough to smooth out the auto gears changes, but may be different to other vehicles.

HTH.
