Glad to hear that you oil consumption has decreased to a more acceptable level. With respect to you next oil change, there is nothing wrong with running the group III oil. I assume that you are likely to run a longer oil change interval with the group III. May I suggest running the 3 fluid ounce total maintenance dose for this upcoming oil change. The maintenance dose will provide for a bit more cleaning, in slow to clean up areas in the top end of the motor. The maintenance dose in a group III will add a little polarity to the host oil and also help build sturdiness in the oil film strength.
