Unless this vehicle is known to have heavy sludge issues the normal basic application should work well for you.
Start with a fresh fill of conventional oil or a group III oil that may be badged as synthetic. Add the entire contents of a 12 ounce bottle of Auto-Rx and operate your car normally for 2500 miles. After completeing the 2500 miles, drain and replace the oil and filter. Again stay with conventional oil or a group II synthetic oil. A group III oil is merely more highly refined mineral oil. Oils such as Castrol Syntec and Pennzoil Platinum are a couple examples of a group III oil. Run this oil change for 3000 miles and change out. Based on the age of your vehicle, we recommend doing two applications for best results.
In our estimation, the use of plain old conventional oil will work just fine for these short oil change intervals and save you a few bucks.
