Did a search but could not find anything regards to what type of filter I could use during my first intial rinse stage of AutoRX. There was a mention of using Motorcraft FL400S filters which are $3-4/each. However, I cannot find any post that confirms that this filter is compatible. The regulard Mahle large sized filters cost about $5-6/each. I'm not sure if I should just stick with that but it seems like a waste to discard them after 1500 miles.
Use whatever filter you like but if you are going to be replacing them on a frequent basis I'm with Frank on this one. Save yourself some money and use a lower cost filter until you have returned to your normal oil change interval.
