is there one oil that gives best results with ARX?
for example would GTX work better than Mobil 5000 etc? or is it ARX that does all the work and walmart super tech will give just as good results as Pennzoil?

Oil is Oil what the difference is the "Additive Package the seller blends in this oil. Auto-Rx has a built in natural additive package whose job it is to
replenisg failing oil additive packages. Some oil's do a better job in combination removing sludge IMO. The object of using Auto-Rx is to prepare your inner oil lubricated parts to be able to accept oil lubricity. Oil (no oil wil not lubricate over clean dirt, abrasives, contaminants, sludge) oil just skips to nearest clean metal. major reason for excessive wear on parts.

so if were to pick a conventional oil based on virgin oil analysis what would i be looking for in said oil? higher calcium numbers, higher boron or sodium, higher tbn, etc? or would maybe a HDEO work better with higher magnesium levels? or maybe a more bland oil with lower numbers? i guess its a long way of asking whats your favorite dino for ARX use LOL

Just saw your post. Sorry about the long delay however what difference does the chemicals in an additive package mean when your only going to keep the oil in for a short time ? Any oil on our web site will do a good job in cleaning or stopping seal leaks. My own choice is WalMart Super Tech. The whole idea of cleaning your engine with Auto-Rx is to get better performance-gas milage-less operating cost per mile.

After Auto-Rx has cleaned your engine than go on the MAINTENANCE PLAN if you want to use a full synthetic or a group 111 (and save money  your results will be very good) it is your call.

Hi XXXXX

Mobil likes to put the word Super in front of a further descriptive title. For example Super 5000, Super High Mileage, Super Synthetic. The only ,super product that I would recommend for use with Auto-Rx is the Super 5000, which is a conventional oil with its detergent and dispersant package boosted a bit over their straight conventional oil. All of the other super products contain at least enough polar components to slow down the Auto-Rx cleaning activity.

All conventional oils work well with Auto-Rx for cleaning and rinsing. Once clean, Auto-Rx works great at the maintenance dose level in any oil.

Best Regards,
Rick 1
