Diesel 3.0Tdi Audi A6 Quattro - Advice needed

OK I've used Auto-rx in 5 different petrol vehicles with fantastic results

Purchased my first oil burner on elongated service intervals (17k miles) and it's supposedly covered 10k miles since last oil change.

So here's my dilemma

Do I add the auto-rx to existing oil (fully synth long-life 5w30) change the filter and run for 4k miles

or

Do I empty the current oil/filter, put in some cheap mineral oil and run with Auto-rx for the standard period.

Then on both cases what oil (viscosity/type) should I use for the rinsing phase that's not going to damage the turbo's and can deal with 3-4k miles before being changed for the expensive stuff?

I must say that I am impressed with the car, considering the size and full-time AWD it's managed 56MPG (48in American money) and 950 miles on a fill!

Am 7k miles away from it's next service so clearly now would be the right time to do it using the service to switch back to the long-life expensive stuff.

Sorry you should have e-mailed me at auto_rx@bellsouth.net I am embarrassed to say nobody caught your post and yes we pay somebody to monitor them Now on to your question use conventinal oil same viscosity and wt. as your present oil. In conjunction with Auto-Rx Plus a good conventinal oil will do nicely for your application.

Remember your only keeping coventinal oil until Auto-Rx Plus Application is finished. When you go back to synthetic incorporate the

Auto-Rx Maintenance Plan
