Newbie with Toyota Sienna and questions

Greetings... I have a 2000 Toyota Sienna with 171K. Have not really had any issues until this point. Oil has always been changed at a maximum of 5000 miles using Dino oil. Engine was inspected by Toyota way back before 108K as part of the class action agreement no sludge reported. Valve cover gasket was replaced 15K ago and again no mention of sludge. Since then smoke puff on start up and slight smoking under wide open throttle. Also the "fast lube" place told me that the engine looked sludged. I think they were just trying to sell a motorvac, but there is varnish and burnt looking material under the filler cap.

Sorry searched and couldn't find answers. Questions: Based on the above would you recommend the 1 bottle treatment or the 2 bottle treatment?

With that recent oil change less than 500 miles ago could I just add treatment to the current oil?

Do I need to be careful of adding Auto RX and overfilling?

This vehicle is not driven very much so to get to 2000 miles may take quite a while. Is it ok to run it that long or should I change the oil based on calendar vs. miles driven?

Thanks so much for the info. Here's to keeping old Toyota's running!!!

Hello sludge issues require 2 bottle treatment, followed up with using Auto-Rx Plus Maintenance Plan.

Your current oil will do fine as it has plenty of life left. Auto-Rx is not an oil or solvent that changes the viscosity of your oil. Your oil reserve is always larger then OEM specs Add the 2 bottles.

Auto-Rx Plus is as good as your oil is as oil is a carrier so how long it takes for you to get 2000 miles not a big issue
