i want to add auto-rx as prescribed to an auto trans before my scheduled trans fluid flush, but it shows as full on my dipstick. is the amount required minimal enough just to pour in, or must i syringe the equivalent amount of existing fluid out?
No problem transmission fluid is in reality hydraulic fluid + additive package very vicious. In a hundred miles or so Auto-rx will be cleaning torque converter and clutch packs. Auto-Rx use hydraulic fluid as well as oil as a carrier. Auto-Rx is not solvent or petroleum based. Auto-Rx can do no harm.
