Both of my vehicles are in the middle of an initial cleaning phase.  I have a long weekend planned prior to the kids starting school again.  This means that one of the two cars will sit idle (not started at all) for 3-4 days.  Does this cause any issues with the effectiveness of the clean phase?

02Volvo,

No problem Auto-Rx will do no harm to the engine. Resume cleaning and rinse phase when you return.

If anything this will be a advantage in cleaning out the pan, oil pump screen, and areas under the valve cover where oil tends to pool. Heat and oil flow are important factors in getting the most benefit from ARX but just allowing it to soak into contaminent build up has to be beneficial as well.

Good to know...

FYI
I just had a look at my dipstick. I am just short of 700 miles into the clean phase. The oil is obviously darker than it normally would be at this time in a traditional OCI.
