I am coming to the end of the rinse phase on my Auto Rx treatment. I have always used Mobil 1, but switched to Castrol GTX for my treatment. I will be going back to Mobil 1 in about 800 miles, and was planning on starting the maintenance plan. Here's where the questions start. How, exactly, does the maintenance dose work? Will it still be effective even though I'm using synthetic oil? I've always been under the impression that syn oil clings to metal, will Auto RX affect this? Won't Auto RX get "between" the metal and the syn oil?
I guess I've become an Auto RX junky, I need an information fix. Seriously, I've been recommending it to friends and they're asking valid questions that I can't answer.

New Auto-Rx Application will answer your question and all of your friends. In the mean time.
Auto-Rx Maintenance Plan:
After completing your Auto-Rx cleaning and rinse application we strongly urge you to begin a Auto-Rx Maintenance Plan. This will ensure that your motor remains clean and that you will retain all your gains achieved with Auto-Rx. Add three fluid ounces of Auto-Rx with each oil change and you will never have to clean your engine again.
Auto-Rx enhances the properties of any oil, conventional or synthetic. ARX mixes with the oil, doesn't seperate out. There have been a couple of long term Maintenance Dose Tests you might want to review on the main ARX website.
Certain synthetic oils have a polar attraction to metal which is why they are not ideal for use during a ARX rinse phase. Once an engine is substantially clean a smaller amount of ARX can assist the oil's regular additive package, keeping new contaminents from forming by reducing oxidation and liquifying over time any remaining sludge and varnish.
