My Corolla has 364k miles on it and it runs fine. I am the original owner and just purchased 3 bottles of Auto-RX recently. I hve been using Mobil 1 since it was new and have been using flushes with Rislone and several other products along the way. I started the clean cycle abt a week ago and used the 8 oz quantity per the chart for engines using 4 qts of oil. I am using Exxon Super Flo 5W30. I noticed that the treatment procedure had changed on 9/1/07. It says to run 12 oz of product and for a longer mileage period. Should I add the remaining 4 oz I have and run it for the extended run?
Yes use the new instructions add the other 4oz of ARX. Wow that is quite a few miles on your engine do 3 cleanings and rinses that should get all of the flushes of other products you have used out.
