Why 6 ounces of Auto-Rx for transmission

Yes, I did put 6 ounces in my transmission, my engine takes 6 quarts of oil and we are supposed to use a 12 ounce bottle for the clean phase, my Turbo 350 trans is speced for 11 quarts but I have 14 quarts because I have deep B&M pan that holds 3 more quarts, with 14 quarts would not a whole bottle do and why or why not, dont worry I am not going to add the additional 6 ounces, I will wait for Frank or others to chime in. Also I have a trans filter that is basically a screen, I would guess that the contaniments are liquified and will come out when I flush the trans, I would think that with 350,000 miles there has to be some stuff in that trans even though I have used synthetic transmission fluid, 1st Mobil 1 trans fluid, then Redline D4, when I flush the trans I am wondering if I should go with Amsoil ATF, I have heard it is very good.

I'm kind of curious about the the amount of "ARX" to add also. I'm about 6 months from a transmission service, and will be adding ARX. Will the amount change, will it be "tweaked" like the engine oil application?

Please click on Transmission Site located home page Auto-Rx on index. There is no rinse phase in transmission application fluid is basic hydraulic plus additive package very viscious and since transmission is a sealed unit
no need to rinse 6 ounces Auto-Rx is good for any automatic transmission.
