Alot of GM pick up as well as rear wheel drivers such as Camaros suffer from the tranny not wanting to release while breaking to a stop. When you do come to a stop the tranny really tourques on the rear end actually lifting the rear of the vehicle upward. Then when you release the break and accelerate the whole rear end torques downward. What an annoyance. I have got to say that by adding 6 fluid ounces into my 1500 series pick up, the problem has all but dissipated completely. And it happened quickly, within the first 30 miles of driving. Prior to this remedy, my only solution was to pull out the drive shaft, load up the tailstock with silicone lubricant and reinstall the drive shaft. But this would last for only 1000-1500 miles. So I am running the 6 ouces full time at this point. So far so good. My tranny has been behaving very well for 2500 miles now.
