Reformatted Auto-Rx Applications 2-15-08

We uploaded them tonight. Thanks to "Turbo Jim" a great job. These instructions are concise, clear and whole site contains more information. www.auto-rx.com (click on applications) there are people going with the 2 bottle application,. It is the Auto-Rx Maintenance Program that is the key in keeping your car on the road and out of the garage.

Auto-Rx® Maintenance Plan

It is strongly recommended that you begin an Auto-Rx Maintenance Plan following your particular Auto-rx® application. This will ensure a clean motor and continued performance. Simply add three fluid ounces of Auto-Rx® with each oil change, and you will never have to clean your engine again.

Frank,

Can you explain why the different application method?? As I recall, in January the instructions called for use of a group III oil during the application of Auto-RX.

From a chemistry standpoint, wouldn't there be no application advantage using a "conventional oil" (group I or II) as opposed to a group III oil. They all chemically represent the same fundamental base (a refined petroleum product) with the group III oil having the lowest concentration of impurities. I would think that the group III oil would a more effective oil to use in application of Auto-RX due to the fact that there are less impurities so you are starting with a more consistent product.

I've been a hardcore die hard fan and user of auto-rx for...what 4 or 5 years now?  I've recommended it to thousands and most likely helped sell about 100 bottles.

One thing that I have ran across 1000 times.  While you and I may understand it, others don't.

"It costs too much!"  "I have to change my oil how many times?"

It's hard enough to convince someone they need auto-rx, convincing them to use a group III at $3.57 a quart instead of gas station oil at $0.69 a quart is a hard battle.  Heck, most of the time these people aren't using a group III anyways!

For what it's worth, for years I have been doing my treatments with Supertech Synthetic from walmart.

If I can get someone to use auto-rx and use it properly I'm just happy they're doing what's best for their engine.  Convincing them to use a group III oil with it would be a great accomplishment!

Not everyone is as smart as us and cares as much about the health of their engines.
