HELLO FOLKS, CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME, HAVE THE ABOVE CAR,CAN DRIVE HER ABOUT 10-15 MILES BEFORE SHE STARTS TO OVER HEAT,
WENT TO SAAB MAIN DEALER AND THEY SAID IT WAS CARBON BUILD-UP AND SLUDGE AND TO REPLACE THE ENGINE, HAS ANYONE HAD THIS PROB AND HOW DID YOU REMIDEY THE PROB,
HAS ANYBODY GOT A SAAB WITH THE SAME PROBS THAT WAS FIXED BY AUTO-RX,
PLEASE TELL ME DONT HAVE TO BUY ENGINE THAT I CANT AFFORD
Frank or one of the other knowledgeable guys here will stop by with their thoughts on this. IMO I'd start with the heavy sludge application. Found here: http://www.auto-rx.com/pages/heavy_sludge_app.html
But before I'd take in on the road I'd add the auto-rx as described and let it run in the driveway so you don't get stuck with an overheated vehicle on the road somewheres. I'd also buy a few extra oil filters, you're going to need them during the process.
you have made these irish eyes smile again, how long should i leave her run for in the driveway, how many bottles should i put in with the new oil and filter,
How hard is is the take the valve cover off? The oil pan? If it's as bad as you think it is, you may need to do some manual work, then let the ARX focus on the stuff you can't get to.

looking forward to your reply,
again thank you sir, Daniel . rep of Ireland
I'd make sure the cooling system is working ok before I do anything. Does the electric fan come on? Does the thermostat work? Is the cooling system filled to the proper level? The reason I ask is (after thinking about your situation) Why is it overheating? Could sludge build up alone make it overheat? With temps in the 50's F in Ireland I have to question the cooling systems effeciency.
Irish Danny as i said in e-mail call our Irish Distributor. They should be able to help you. They never joined this forum and as luck might have it they could be very close to where you live.
