I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 4.0 I6 in it. I use Mobil 1 5W30 Truck and SUV formula. I bought some Castrol GTX 5W30 to use during the ARX cleaning phase and I plan on buying the same for the rinse phase. Is this a good oil to use? Or should I look at something else?
Well, I am about 800 miles into my ARX treatment. Plan on changing the oil filter at 1250 miles. My gas mileage has gone up about 1.2 MPG recently. I am not hearing any more noise from the engine and everything else seems normal. If gas prices were not so high I would be just randomly driving around so I could complete this clean phase. Since the MPG has increased a little I am really interested in the end result!
