Tractor hyd seal
Permalink

I have a diesel tractor with a lower rotating seal in the PTO that leaks hyd fluid. I have replaced on other tractors and it is a pain and my tractor is down in the country to boot. Will ARX cause any issues with the hyd fluid? If I use ARX will I need to replace fluid after a short time? Thoughts?

Thanks

Auto-Rx works with any type of oil go without a problem. Got www.auto-rx.com and download application for seal leaks.

The seal may well be leaking from dirt and oxidized oil deposits that have formed either on the seal material itself or on the rotating shaft. ARX should clean up the seal and shaft and give it a chance to seal again. Yes you will need to change out the fluid, afterwards. I would run the cleaning application for 10-15 hours, that being with the PTO operating or at least the shaft rotating.
