What Does The Maintenance Plan Do ?

Why the Maintenance Dose?

You have just finished with a cleaning and rinse applications, to clean up the motors internals with respect to harmful deposits, but you are really stopping at third base.
Early on with Auto-Rx we had suggested running a clean and rinse cycle every 25,000 miles to keep a motor deposit free. Over the last 3 years we have realized that it is more effective to run a smaller dose of Auto-Rx with each oil change.

In addition to keeping your motors vital internals clean, Auto-Rx has shown to reduce wear, as well as providing for a lower coefficient of friction than that of motor oil alone. With just three fluid ounces in the sump, enhanced lubrication is provided as well fuel efficiency. So why wait utilizing the Auto-Rx benefits every 25,000 miles, when you can have it working every time you turn the key.

The maintenance dose has shown excellent results through used oil analysis, with both conventional oil runs and full synthetic oil, with extended drains. Take advantage of the volume discount price offerings and order that extra bottle with your order.

Ps. If You Have Sludge Issues Use 4 Ounces.

Thanks Frank. I am a ARX customer that is not quite sure what to do about the maintenance dose. I have 3 vehicles that are in various stages of clean/rinse cycles now. I still have a little over 4 bottles of ARX left of the 10 I bought so far, and intend to use some of it to clean one more power steering unit, an auto-tranny and a differential. I'm in a quandry as to whether I want use the maintenance dose in the engines though, because the follow-on engine oils I have ready to go in these vehicles have anti-wear additives that are designed to bond with metal surfaces (micro moly, penetro, and monolec). I suspect there might be a conflict with the agressive metal cleaning characteristic of ARX, and the ability of these proprietary anti-wear additives to do their job. Do you think that going with the old 25K ARX application would be more advisable in my case? Thanks.

Hello your follow up oil wll not match in performance or useful life the friction modifiers built into Auto-Rx.

Your running the maintenance dose to keep your compression-combustion values at peak levels while maintaining a clean engine.

Your oil will run better as the metal will stay clean. (Remeber oil does not lubricate through dirt) you can feel
good about both the maintenance dose and your oil. No need for a deletion of either one.

I was hoping you'd say that using the ARX maintenance dose with these oils would be even better than using the oils alone. I'll give it a try and see what happens. Thanks Frank.
