Flushing machines

Having read a lot about Auto-Rx on the Internet, I purchased four bottles in the UK to use in my '00 Mitsubishi Pajero/Montero with over 210,000 km (131,250 miles). Having returned to Kuwait, I changed my oil with Motorcraft Synthetic Blend 10W-30 (a Group III oil) and used an ACDelco PF1127 filter with a bottle of Auto-Rx (going to use the heavy sludge application). A couple of hundred kilometers later, I noticed the engine was running much smoother - especially at WOT. It also used to puff out blue smoke, and now that has been reduced as well - amazing to say the least!

I also poured half a bottle into my automatic transmission, after which shifting improved significantly. Within the next week or so, I will be doing a T-TEC flush and using Motorcraft Mercon V ATF.

I do, however, have a quick question. When the time comes to change my engine oil and filter for the rinsing stage, should I just do a traditional oil change or can I take it into a service center where they use a flushing machine (which does not leave behind dirty oil)? Thanks! :)

Falcon LS,

Thank you for purchasing Auto-Rx. If you are going to use the Auto-Rx maintenance program it will be ok to use the flush system other wise I would use the traditional oil change.

Id also like to say Im now 1,100 km (688 miles) into the cleaning stage, and have noticed further improvements.

Whenever I was at a stop light, with my foot on the brake and the transmission in drive, the engines rpm would fluctuate causing it to light shudder and sometimes vibrate uncontrollably. I never could figure out what was causing it for the life of me, and nothing would change after cleaning the throttle body, IAC or MAF sensor. Now with nearly 700 miles into the cleaning stage, this problem has completely disappeared. You cannot even feel the engine running when the vehicle is stationary!
