Early Rinse Stop?

On my 2003 Dodge 3.7 pickup I am 1700 miles into my rinse and it has taken 10 months to get that many miles due to back operation and 6 months not able to drive. My concern is that I feel a strong urge to change oil due to length of time on the current oil which is Valvolene Synpower 10/30.
My clean miles were the "old" 1500 before the new instructions came out. The truck has 56,000 miles and runs well since the clean with Auto-RX.
Suggestions or comments please and thanks for a great product(2 more bottles on order).

Mike

Mike,

With only 56K miles and 1700 in the cleaning phase I see no problem changing the oil now.

I have the same question, but I did the full 2500 mile cleaning phase. We will be taking a trip of about 1000 miles, and the rinse oil could still have 5-600 miles left. Would you cut the rinse short, or run it long?

pw01,

Not a problem cutting 500 or 600 miles will  be ok.
