Motorguard before or after rinse phase?

My vehicle is about to get new oil and filter, and I was wondering what to do about the Motorguard bypass filter I have waiting to be installed.  Should I wait until after the rinse is finished to install it, or should I install it while I have the chance now?

Dust,

I would wait until you finish the rinse phase to install it.

That's where I was leaning. Just worred about the little thimble getting plugged up, and thinking that the TP would be better for catching crap. Guess I'll just change it if I get worried. I still need to find a place to mount the thing. Planning on more filter cc's than engine cc's.
