Time limit on clean and rinse phases?

I understand that the clean and rinse phases are around 3000 miles each but is there maximum time between phases specified? I only drive my 97 Infiniti J30 (3.0L V6) around 8-10 miles per day so it'll be over 6 months before I actually reach 3000 miles. I usually perform oil changes every three months though.

Is there a general rule-of-thumb here I should follow in this situation? Keep the Auto-RX cleaning until 3000 miles or proceed directly to the rinse phase at the next scheduled oil change after 3 months (but around 1500 miles into the clean phase)?

Essentially, what's more important for Auto-RX to do it's job...time or miles?

Thanks!

GeoFX,

It takes miles not time follow the instructions and you will be ok. Thank you for purchasing Auto-Rx it is a great product and has no solvents in the formula.
