Well, here's what I picked up on by reading and experiencing about Auto-Rx's abilities to reduce emissions.
Auto-Rx helps reduce engine emissions by increasing gas mileage and rejuvenating an engine back to near-factory performance.
Auto-Rx's environmentally-safe esters increase an oils ability to lubricate engine components by better chemically attracting oil to metal surfaces and suspending deposits of sludge and other debris in the oil until filtered out by the oil filter. By attracting the oil to the metal surfaces, oil can breach and break up tough sludge, allowing oil to flow more freely to all components. This allows better lubrication, reducing internal friction thus increasing overall performance and gas mileage.
In addition to increasing the lubrication properties of oil, the breaking up of sludge and debris on piston rings and intake and exhaust valves can unstick stuck valves or piston rings. By unsticking these valves and rings, cylinder compression is increased, often back to factory performance. Better compression equates to more horsepower and less wasted fuel.
If stuck piston rings were causing oil burning, and Auto-Rx cleans the rings and allows them to rotate properly, oil burning may also be reduced or stopped all together. The burning oil is itself an extra emission that can be prevented with the use of Auto-Rx.
Finally, Auto-Rx can help reduce engine emissions by giving engine computer sensors a cleaner environment to determine fuel/air ratios for better fuel economy and performance. If oil burning was a problem that Auto-Rx can stop by cleaning the engine, the reduced emissions from the burning oil will allow for a cleaner exhaust system, including the catalytic converters and O2 sensors. Clean catalytic converters will more efficiently reduce emissions and clean O2 sensors will allow the engine computer to more accurately lean the fuel/air ratio to maximize fuel economy and performance and reduce emissions.
But one can not just look at Auto-Rx's engine cleaning abilities. Auto-Rx can also clean and fix some common problems caused by excessive debris in automatic and manual transmissions. Once again by increasing the transmission oil's ability to lubricate and break down sludge and other debris from friction materials, Auto-Rx increases the flow of these oils in the transmissions and reduces friction and increasing gas mileage. In the case of an automatic transmission, slow or hard shifting and stuck gears can be corrected by gently and safely cleaning the components. By unsticking gears such as the vehicle's overdrive gear, fuel economy can vastly improve.
