recomment step for 1997 Camaro Z28 5.7l 134k miles.

I just bought a 1997 Camaro z28 LT1 with 350 5.7L 134k miles.

The dealer currently fill unknow dino oil 10w30. Car have no oil burn or losing any oil yet. Car have no oil leak, so what dose of auto-rx do i need ? and how many bottle ? thanks

Go check out the Application section of the website.

You will need 2 bottles so that you can do 2 Clean and Rinse cycles due to your high mileage.

I am currently on my 2nd Clean cycle with my Ford Taurus, and it has never run smoother.biggrin

I would get 2 bottles 1 for cleaning and 1 for maintenance.Use 3oz per oil change thanks for using ARX.

Im currently using longer oil filter version, wich is add about half more quart oil, my choice of oil filter is napa gold long version, and castrol gtx or pennzoils, how it sound ? and from what I understand is

First application:

new oils and filter with Full bottle of Auto-RX
at 2,500 miles change new oil and filter without Auto-RX
at 3,000 miles change new oil and filter THEN ADD FULL BOTTLE OF AUTO-RX FOR SECOND APPLICATION ?

at 2,500 miles change new oil and filter without Auto-RX
at 3,000 miles change new oil and filter then add 3oz for MAINTAIN DOSE, and add 3oz every oil change after that right ? thanks

I just got result back from blackstone, I bought the car from dealer and drove 600 miles back home, unknow oil type and weight, unknow miles on oils. but it came out pretty good sesult. and base on the result, and before I place my order, should I go with 1 appllication or 2 ? should I stick with 5w/30 ( it stamp on the oil cap ) or 10w/30 ? or base on UOA do I need auto-rx for my engine at all ? thanks
