About a year ago I finished a basic application on my 06 Sedona.
When I started it had about 13K miles on it.
When I finished I went back to putting synthetic oil back in along with 3oz of the maintenance dose.
My question is I have about 5K on the synthetic oil and wanted to know if I could just change the oil filter, add about a quart of oil and go another 5K miles and do a full oil change.
Basically changing the filter every 5K and the oil every 10K.

Thanks

Perhaps you should have a UOA done on this unit, to know for sure. The ARX maintenance dose does take a load of the detergent/dispersant package of the host motor oil, but with no known history of UOA, you would be guessing, if the host oil can handle the added mileage.

What synthetic oil are you using?

I usually go back and forth between Pennzoil,Castrol and Valvoline.Whichever is on sale.
How do I go about getting a UOA?

I believe there is a link on this site to Dyson Oil Analysis.

Thanks Brent.
I guess I should have scrolled down further on the main page.

I've been done with the basic clean/rinse for about 10K miles now and have been using the maintenance dose since.
I took the oil filler cap off today and noticed when I looked inside looked liked possible sludge buildup.I know I won't know for sure unless I take the engine apart. But it doesn't seem as clean looking through the oil filler hole as my other cars that have gone through ARX treatments.
The van right now has 31577 miles on it and the oil has been changed on a regular basis.
Any suggestions on maybe starting a sludge removal treatment or to just leave it the way it is.I thought by going through the basic clean/rinse cycle I'd be good for as long as I own the van with regular oil changes and the maintenance dose.

Do another rinse using Castrol GTX start with clean filter. Possible last rinse and oil you were using did not remove everything.
