I remember talking with a guy who had over 300,000 miles on his Chevy Astro Van, he showed me pictures of the inside of his engine when he replaced his head gasket. Everything looked clean but he was starting too burn oil and blow smoke as he drove down the road.
He eventually replaced his engine, even though he had a clean engine his rings probably had deposits on them. These deposits can lead to:
1) Oil Burning 2) Lost Compression 3) Fouled Spark Plugs 4) Loss Of Power 5) Increased Fuel Comsumption
I believe if he had used auto-rx he would still have his original engine today. Auto-Rx is the only product that I know of that will keep your piston rings clean and working properly.
I have 370,000 miles on a small block chevy engine that with the use of auto-rx does not burn any oil or blow any smoke out the tailpipe.
A Clean and Rinse with auto-rx followed by the maintenance dose of auto-rx is much cheaper than:
