Thank you for your reply and it is not quite right what I am looking for :-  there was a web-page of step by step on how to change the A.T.F. (Auto-Box) without having it done via 'T-Tech' before this new web-page -
http://www.auto-rx.com/auto-rxnet/pages/applicationsB.html
- please bring back the old one or add in with the new update.

Cheers!

Hmm...you mean a cooler line exchange? I'll spell it out, but it's easy enough.

Finding which cooler line to disconnect from the radiator is about the only debate. If it's a rubber hose, then just get a short piece of hose to attach to the radiator end.

Place both hoses in a pan or jug. Start engine. Run until bubbles appear in flow from cooler line. Turn off engine.

If you're going to change the trans filter, NOW is the time. The sump is about empty. There won't be a mess involved with the pan drop.

Add two or three quarts to the trans. Repeat process until approximately 125-150% of total trans capacity has passed through the transmission.

Replace lines. Fill sump. Check level and top off as needed.

Run for a few miles and recheck level.

If the lines are easily accessible, this takes all of ten minutes if you're not changing the internal filter. I'd probably add an honest hour for the pan drop (not doing it like a bona fide wrench).

Hiya, thanks for your help and I have found it as I copy it from here & paste it elsewhere, here goes -

Drop pan, change Filter, (clean magnet) new pan gasket, reinstall. Measuring the old fluid in pan into a milk bottle type container, install that amount of new A.T.F. back into transmission. Disconnect Both A.T.F. cooler lines at Radiator and place a container or pan under each line end (helps to have an assistant). Start engine, shut down after few pints have come out one of the lines. Refill exact amount of fresh fluid in transmission (this keeps air out of the system).

Start engine again and repeat until clean fluid is coming out of cooler line. This is messy and time consuming but will purge all old A.T.F. from Transmission and Torque Converter. Reinstall cooler lines and start car, cycle through gears, place in park and check level. Check for leaks. Top up as necessary after driving and heated up. Don't overfill.

This is what people have been asking me for and thought to ask to bring the old web-page back.

Cheers! wink
