Metal to Plastic lubrication

There's a well known problem in my model car (2000-2003 Crown Vic/Grand Marquis) involving plastic timing chain guides and tensioners wearing/breaking away.  My car is at around 103,000 miles and is roughly about the time they need replacement on these years.

I was just wondering if the esters in Auto-Rx allows the oil to lubricate plastic/nylon parts better like it does metal parts.  So far I haven't heard any of the signs of it being totally worn, but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed and want to do anything I can to keep from having to do that.

The synthetic esters in Auto-Rx will help lubrication on any surface where oil flows. I can't remember this question ever being posted ? Thanks
