Hello my name is Mike Baldwin and I purchased AutoRx for use in my 1992 Oldsmobile Bravada with 120,000 miles. I purchased this vehicle from the original owner who told me to "take care of her baby" as I drove out the drive. The seller provided me with a stack of service records which included her log book of recorded oil changes. Her proof that she did indeed treat her "baby" very well. All oil changes had been performed within a range of 3000 to 4000 miles. Despite maintenance performed at required intervals I did note however the visual presence of sludge when I peered down the engine oil fill tube. Having already studied the possible benefits of AutoRx my decision to purchase was immediate.
This vehicle is my primary daily driver. My round trip commute includes 66 miles of mixed driving conditions almost equally divided among interstate, highway and city. My speeds range from 70 mph to 30 mph. I'm very pleased to announce that my 18 year old AWD Oldsmobile Bravada equipped with automatic transmission and the Chevrolet 4.3 V6 ("z" engine code) is routinely delivering 21.75 mpg. That is up from the 18.5 mpg I was getting prior to using AutoRx . Not to shabby considering there is now 125,000 miles on the odometer.
I think that my story is proof that even vehicles that have been properly maintained as per manufactures instructions, can benefit from a single application of AutoRx.
