I cracked open my valve covers to swap cams yesterday.  Here's some pictures with the valve covers and front cover removed.  The guys helping me were all amazed at how clean it is inside with 107,000 miles on the clock.

I did one full dose of Auto-Rx about 40,000 miles/2 years ago.  Since then I changed my oil every 3,000 miles with Motorcraft semi-synthetic and added the 3 oz. Auto-Rx maintenance dose.

And the little bit of oil pooled in the heads was at about 3,200 miles.  I went a little over this OCI since I knew I'd have to change oil after this job anyway.
