Edge probably has a certain amount of either PAO or EOP in it. I would recommend the less expensive synthetic from Catrol. Edge would also be an expensive oil to use for such a short period. You can save a whole lot of money using Rotella T synthetic 5w-40 from WallMart. At $19/gallon it's a savings over Edge in most markets. If you're set on using Edge, I'd extend the cleaning and rinse phases to around 5k each.
